Episode 13: Kare Gjaldbaek
Originally from Denmark, Kare Gjaldbaek’s young family and pursuit of a PhD in mathematics have largely kept him away from the bridge table of late. He met his American wife at a junior bridge camp and thinks it might have been the last time she played.
Kare’s greatest playing successes came during his junior bridge days and he served as non-playing captain of the world champion Danish junior team in 2008.
